Bridging Ideas and Contributions: My KKN Experience in Ganggangpanjang Village

Hi! Let me introduce myself, my name is Recky Febryansyah Herlambang, I'm a student of Narotama University who is currently studying in 6th semester. The Community Service Program (KKN) 2025 is an unforgettable experience for students like me. This activity is an opportunity to learn while making a positive contribution to society. I was fortunate to be able to participate in the KKN program in Dusun Luwung, Ganggangpanjang Village, Sidoarjo.

Ganggangpanjang Village is located in a place not far from the hustle and bustle of the city, where nature and village communities live side by side. When I first arrived there, I was impressed by the natural beauty and the atmosphere was very comfortable, reminding me of my village in Nganjuk, East Java.

During the Community Service Program in this village, my friends and I had several work programs that needed to be implemented, such as conducting a sharing session about content creators, creating promotional content for village tourism, and helping with administrative services at the Ganggangpanjang village head's office.

Starting with our work program, a sharing session about content creators. Here, my friends and I are more focused on sharing sessions with residents than training, because here we learn together and exchange experiences which will later give us all knowledge about how to become content creators, and how villagers can develop their ideas for their village, Ganggangpanjang.

We also created promotional content for village tourism, the tourism is called Punden Mbah Reco which is located in Luwung Hamlet, Ganggangpanjang Village, Sidoarjo. It is hoped that later from our content, tourism in this village will be more crowded with visitors because my friends and I see a lot of potential in this good tourism. Such as the many culinary delights there, many games for village children which are exciting, and of course the natural beauty there is very beautiful. I am sure that the Punden Mbah Reco village tourism will be even better and more crowded in the future.

In addition, we also help with administrative services at the Ganggangpanjang village head's office, where we help staff in administrative services, especially using the SIPRAJA application, such as helping residents who come to the office to create SIPRAJA accounts, helping to create letters needed by residents and others.

Not only did we contribute to the village, but this experience also taught us many valuable lessons. We also learned about the importance of cooperation and communication in a work program that involves many people.

The Community Service Program (KKN) experience in Ganggangpanjang Village is one that I will always remember throughout my life. It is not only about providing assistance to the community but also about learning from what they have and making it a lesson for my life. I feel very grateful to have had this opportunity, and I hope that similar experiences can be enjoyed by others in the future.
