ENJOYABLE KKN EXPERIENCE IN GANGGANGPANJANG VILLAGE

Let me introduce myself, my name is Rahayu Winarti, usually called Yayuk. I had the opportunity to participate in the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program for two weeks in Ganggangpanjang Village, Tanggulangin District. The theme of the KKN that we carried was "Building and Developing the Digital Generation among Ganggangpanjang Villagers". This theme was chosen as a response to the importance of digital literacy in the modern era, especially for village communities that are starting to be affected by the development of information technology.

I carried out this KKN activity with 10 other colleagues, so that our total group was 11 people. We designed various programs that supported the main objectives, starting from sharing sessions about content creators and public speaking that are useful for village progress, to education about digital ethics and information security.

In addition to educational activities, we also participated in picket activities at the village hall which were scheduled in turns. We did this in addition to getting closer to the residents and showing real contributions in the daily lives of the local community, we were also asked to help village officials socialize the SIPRAJA application to residents, so that residents can more easily use the services available at the village hall.

The opening of our KKN began on May 14, 2025 at 09.00 WIB at the local village hall. The opening of this KKN was attended by all village officials, local residents and our supervising lecturers. Although the head of Ganggangpanjang village was unable to attend, this event went smoothly.

One of the main challenges I faced during KKN was dividing my time between KKN activities and my work. Undergoing KKN while still working requires good time management and high commitment. Although quite tiring, this experience actually taught me to be more disciplined, resilient, and able to work together in a team amidst various limitations.

KKN in Ganggangpanjang Village was a very valuable experience for me. Not only did it provide an opportunity to apply knowledge in the field, but it also opened up insights into the importance of community empowerment through digital technology. I feel proud to be part of the process of growing digital awareness among villagers, even in a relatively short time.
