The Great Experience of Field Study and Community Service

Hello everyone, this is my story about Field Study and Community Service in Ganggangpanjang Village. But let me introduce myself first, my name is Achmad Rizal Azroqi and my friends called me Rizal. I'm from Narotama University Surabaya and I'm the class of 2021. This is my experience story during Field Study and Community Service (KKN), so? check it out!

The first time I arrived in Ganggangpanjang village on August 3, there I attended a meeting of residents in the neighborhood 5 (RT 05) and some of my friends in the neighborhood 7 (RT 07). The meeting started at 07.00 pm to 08.30 pm, the meeting discussed the activities of residents during the month of August, ranging from competitions, healthy walks, to carnivals. After the meeting of residents was over, my friends and I said goodbye to Mr. Pandu to return to Surabaya.

I returned to Ganggangpanjang Village on August 14 to prepare for tomorrow's Field Study and Community Service opening ceremony. The next day, August 15, I and 2 of my friends, namely Syaiful and Jefri, went to the village hall at 06.30 am to prepare for the opening ceremony. After that, my other friends also came to the village hall to give a briefing first. Then the opening ceremony started at 09.00 am to 10.30 am, the event was attended by Ganggangpanjang Village Management and Field Assistant Lecturers, namely Mr. Made and Mr. Putu.

Furthermore, on August 16 there is a Thanksgiving event (Tasyakuran) in each neighborhood (RT 05 to RT 08) which starts at 06.00 pm to 06.30 pm, then continues with a Thanksgiving event at the village hall after Isya' at 07.00 pm to 09.00 pm. At the Thanksgiving event at the village hall I was with 3 of my friends, namely Imam, Syaiful, Jefri divided the tasks, namely me and Imam as documentation of the event and Syaiful with Jefri guarded the parking area. The Thanksgiving event was attended by all residents from neighborhood 5 (RT 05) to neighborhood 8 (RT 08), the event was very lively starting with the opening then remarks and prayer readings and ending with eating tumpeng together.

Then on August 17, which is Indonesia's Independence Day, there was a competition held in every neighborhood, but unfortunately, I got sick and couldn't participate in the event as a committee member for the whole day. On the next day, August 18, I was back healthy and participated in the healthy walk event held by Hamlet 2 (RW 02), me and 3 of my friends, namely Imam, Syaiful, and Jefri prepared ourselves starting at 3 am to take a bath and prepare for the Shubuh prayer, after that we headed to the Punden Mbah Retjo tourism at 05.30 am. The healthy walk event started from 7 am to 11 am which contained a healthy walk around the village then continued with a dangdut event and accompanied by the distribution of prizes.

That's the excitement of Field Study and Community Service activities, and I would like to thank Mr. Pandu as a supervisor and fellow students and also all residents of Ganggangpanjang Village. Thank you for reading my story to the end, see you soon.
