MY EXPERIENCE OF KKN IN GANGGANGPANJANG VILLAGE, TANGGULANGIN DISTRICT, SIDOARJO REGENCY

Before telling my experience, please allow me to introduce myself and greet my social media friends. Good morning/afternoon/evening. Let me introduce myself, my name is Muhammad Syaiful Ulum. Usually called Syaiful or Ipul. I come from Narotama University Surabaya and I am a class of 2021.

A little story about me, and back when I was carrying out KKN. I carried out KKN in GanggangPanjang village, Tanggulangin Sidoarjo. Before leaving on August 14, 2024, I prepared my belongings such as clothes and toiletries. Everything was ready and just waiting for the day of departure and the inauguration of the KKN activity which was carried out on August 15, 2024.

The first time I got to know Ganggangpanjang village was when I was carrying out KKN, the place was cool, beautiful, there were still many rice fields, the residents were very kind, friendly, and compact. And in every activity we are also assisted by Mr. Pandu who is one of the village hall staff. Starting from home, facilities and infrastructure and being introduced to the community for our activities during KKN. Since the beginning our activities have gone well and smoothly, all of that cannot be separated from the solidarity of the apparatus and villagers who are willing to accept us.

The first activity on August 15, 2024 that I did there was the opening of the KKN which was attended by village officials, representatives of RT and RW. My two friends and I prepared the equipment that would be used at the opening at the village hall and were assisted by Mr. No as the cleaning officer at the village hall. And the KKN event in Ganggangpanjang village has been inaugurated. In the evening we carried out an evaluation to discuss the next event and the shortcomings on that day and were accompanied by Mr. Pandu.

The second activity on August 16, 2024 on that day we participated in activities held by the village, namely the thanksgiving event which was held in each RT and the village hall and helped with the 17th competition event at the local RT. On that day, we as KKN students helped the event run by helping to document each activity by dividing it into several groups to be distributed to several RTs.

On August 17, 2024, we held a 17th August competition event in RT 06, Luwung Hamlet, the competition included children's and adult competitions, many residents and children were enthusiastic about participating in the competition we created.

On August 18, 2024, we participated in an activity in Ganggangpanjang village, namely a healthy walk. On that day, we KKN students helped the event run by helping to document, draw prizes, and collect coupons. An impressive moment for me that day was that the residents were compact, lively and the horeg sound also participated in celebrating the event. Because it is rare or even non-existent, I see horeg sound in Surabaya that also accompanies residents walking.
