Experience notes on studying and serving in the village of Ganggangpanjang
Hello everyone, the journey to learn and serve in Ganggangpanjang village is an unforgettable experience that interweaves learning with the essence of life, leaving behind indelible memories and priceless lessons.First let me Introduce my self my name Imam Syafii Rachmanda and my friends used to call me by the name Imam.I am a student from the Narotama Surabaya university and I am the class of 2021, this is the Experience notes on studying and serving(KKN) in the village of Ganggangpanjang that I have been running.
The first time I arrived in Ganggangpanjang village was on the July 25 to conduct a survey of the location that will be used as a KKN place, when I arrived there and my friend who did the survey was greeted by a village official named Mr. Pandu, after talking to get to know more about the village that will be used as a place for KKN with Mr Pandu, he then invited us to go around the village to see what this village is like, The first goal is that we travel to a food stall owned by the village head,after the meeting at the village head's stall is over, then we are invited to see the house of the village head which we will use as a place to spend the night during the KKN activities, after arriving at the house of the village head then we take a short break, perform worship, and continue to go to the village tourist attraction called Punden Mbah Reco tourist attraction. There we saw rice fields combined with good tourist attractions and attracted many visitors, especially families, then we tried the existing train rides and I became happy with the tourist attraction. During the day after being satisfied with trying the Punden Mbah reco tourist attraction, we had a brief briefing with the guide and continued to return to the city of Surabaya.
On August 15 I returned to Ganggangpanjang in the evening and rest at night to prepare for the event on the next day of August 16, which was Thanksgiving night or what is commonly called tasyakuran night. The event started at 06.00 pm until it was finished and there were RT05 to RT08 who did the tasyakuran event, then I was assigned to RT06, after arriving there I then greeted the people around me then I started to follow the event, not forgetting that I also captured the moment on the night of the tasyakuran at RT06. After the tasyakuran night event at RT 06 was over, then we gathered at the village hall to hold a village tasyakuran night event which started at 19.00 pm. At the tasyakuran night event at the village hall my friend Rizal, Syaiful, and Jefri were given different tasks, Rizal and I were given the task of documenting the event, then for Syaiful and Jefri were assigned to guard the parking of vehicles that would participate in the tasyakuran night event. After the tasyakuran night event, me, Syaiful, Rizal, and Jefri returned to the basecamp for dinner. A few minutes after eating,me, Syaiful, and Jefri went to RT08 to participate in the event there. And return to basecamp at 11.30 PM.
On the next day, August 17th, in the morning, the residents of RT06 did some exercise first, and then we continued with the competition event that we organized The participants enthusiastically joined various competitions, such as coloring, cracker-eating, ping pong with water, putting pencils into bottles, and so on During the competition, my job was to document everything I saw participants, including kids, mothers, and fathers, happily participating in the competitions It was truly a joyful moment for me because we successfully organized the event smoothly. After all the competitions held were completed, it was continued with the distribution of prizes to all participants who participated, it was seen that the participants were happy with the prizes they had won. After all the activities were over, we returned to the basecamp and rested so that tomorrow we could continue the activities.
On August 18 we participated in a healthy walk event held by RW02, me and 3 of my friends rizal, syaiful, and jefri woke up at 3 am to make preparations and depart for the place where the event was held, namely at the Punden Mbah reco tourist spot at 05.30 AM, after arriving there we were given a brief direction on what to do during the event which contained a healthy walk around the village, Then there was a dangdut event and ended with the distribution of door prizes which will be randomized by the committee.
My journey from conducting a survey to attending an event in Desa Ganggangpanjang was really meaningful I gained new experiences and had a great time participating in this wonderful event I also want to all my friend and Mr.Pandu, because without him, I wouldn't have had this kind of experience Thank you for reading my story about my experience notes on studying and serving(KKN) in the village of Ganggangpanjang, See you again.
