120 Steps for Community Service in Ganggangpanjang Village

Hello everyone, come on, let's follow the story of our footsteps starting from the words KKN (Real Work Lecture), which previously we only saw KKN brothers and sisters teaching in class and doing other activities in the village and it turns out that now I and my friends are in that position.

Eitss, don't rush, sis. Before the story goes any further, let me introduce myself first! Let me introduce myself, my name is Sri Nur Akhidah, you are free to be called whatever you want, as long as it's not Sri, but I prefer to be called kida. When writing this story I was carrying out KKN in Ganggangpanjang Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency. I think this is one of my steps towards better change.

How can this not be a change for the better? We students who usually only study in class are now given the opportunity to contribute directly to the field to apply the knowledge we gain during lectures.

We started on August 14 2024 by leaving for KKN to Ganggangpanjang Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency. When we arrived there in the evening we distributed invitations to the RT RW to attend the inauguration of the KKN opening at the village hall. Then on August 15 2024, our second activity was the inauguration of the opening of the KKN at the Ganggangpanjang Village Hall with invited guests such as RT, RW, Cadres and other Village Officials. The experience I gained in this activity was the first time being a presenter or MC, where in carrying out this task I felt that the results were not optimal, but I think it's okay, the most important thing is the courage to try and continue to learn regarding the results, which is a bonus. On the other hand, I am happy, thank God, the inauguration ceremony for the opening of the 2024 Narotama University Dimension KKN in Ganggangpanjang Village could be carried out smoothly.

I think the story of the third day of KKN on August 16 2024 was very memorable because I and my friend Erlina suddenly became ultramen haha, do you want to know why you became ultramen? It's a long story to tell, so I'll just tell it briefly, friends. In the evening of the 14th to 15th we stayed at the KKN venue. In the morning we had to go back to campus to take part in the dress rehearsal for the August 17th event at the campus and also the 2024 PKKMB Pre-Technical Meeting rehearsal. After the event at the campus was over we immediately left for the KKN venue hoping we could still Participate in RT thanksgiving activities.

But again, no matter how hard we try, if God doesn't allow it, everything will be in vain. But I don't think so, because at least we have tried our best to attend, and thank God we can still take part in other tasyakuran activities, namely thanksgiving at the village hall. At this event we helped document the event and helped clean up the place after the event, here we learned a lot about mingling with local residents and gave me the opportunity to chat with several residents and after the event was over we helped with the August 17 competition at RT 08. After It was finished that evening, Erlina and I went straight back to campus to carry out duties at the August 17 2024 ceremony on campus.

I know for sure you are bored listening to my story on the third day which is very complicated haha, let's continue the KKN story on the short fourth day, namely August 17 2024. On the fourth day, I returned to the KKN location in the afternoon. When we got there we immediately helped with the prize distribution event to the competition winners at RT 06 and helped with documentation. In the evening we helped document the fishing event together at RT 05 Luwung hamlet, Ganggangpanjang village and after that we returned to basecamp for an evaluation meeting and rest.

And finally the last day of this first week arrived, on August 18 2024 our agenda for that day was a Healthy Walk with all RW 02 in Punden Mbah Retjo. We got ready for the briefing and shared our respective tasks. Thank God, in this event we were able to look united in carrying out our duties. I was very happy at this event because the enthusiasm of the residents in participating in the event was so great and the local residents were very friendly in welcoming us.

In my opinion, the thing that was very impressive and gave me experience in KKN in Ganggangpanjang village was the event on August 16 and 18 2024, where the 16th gave me lessons and experience on how to manage and utilize my time as best as possible and even though the feeling of tiredness was still there. keep walking to leave a good footprint. And on August 18th it was memorable because all my life I followed the healthy walk and never got a door prize, but on the healthy walk this time my friends and I got 5 door prizes at once, maybe this is a simple thing but I think it's funny and memorable.

I would like to thank all the residents of Ganggangpanjang village, especially Mr. Pandu as our KKN mentor in Ganggangpanjang village who welcomed us well, was friendly and guided us. My hope is that we can work together well to build cohesiveness in Ganggangpanjang village, Tanggulangin sub-district, Sidoarjo regency.
