Fun Experience During KKN in Ganggangpanjang Village
By: Lucy Susannaiyah
Hello friends introducion my name is lucy susannaiyah, a student at Narotama University in Surabaya. I want to share a pleasant and unforgettable experience when I did KKN in Ganggangpanjang Village.
Real Work Lecture Experience (KKN) is usually synonymous with various challenges and limitations that must be overcome in living rural life. However, for us, our KKN journey is different. We feel very fortunate to be placed in a village that provides us with a very interesting experience. In particular, we are very grateful to Pak Pandu, who has dedicatedly guided us throughout the KKN journey and provided invaluable facilities while we were in the village. The friendliness of the villagers has also made our KKN experience even more special.
One of the pleasant experiences I had during my KKN was the Tasyakuran in Ganggangpanjang Village, which is one of the moments that the villagers look forward to every year. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to attend one of the thanksgiving gatherings there, and it was a great experience for me to feel the warmth and friendliness of the villagers.
This event took place at the Ganggangpanjang village hall starting at 19.30 WIB until it was finished attended by the Lurah, Head of RW, Head and Management of RT, Religious Leaders, Community Leaders, and Narotama University Community Service Students.
Towards the end of the event, it was concluded with a communal meal featuring a cone-shaped rice dish known as "tumpeng." One of the happiest moments was when everyone gathered to dine together. This communal meal provided me with the opportunity to engage in conversations and mingle with the locals. I also felt very welcomed and treated with kindness by everyone around me.
Towards the end of the event, it was closed with a joint meal featuring a cone-shaped rice called "tumpeng". One of the happiest moments is when everyone gets together to eat together. These shared meals give me the opportunity to engage in conversation and feel closer to the locals. Everyone we met was so friendly and welcomed us with such sincerity, it was almost like they treated us as their own children.
