My First Impression In Ganggangpanjang Village

The first time I got to know the village of Ganggang Panjang was when I did the Community Service Program, the place is cold and there are still many rice fields, the people are very kind and friendly. The first activity I did there while doing the Community Service Program was a meeting with the residents, my team and I were served village snacks which are very rare in cities, and we talked with the residents about our Community Service Program. After the meeting we spent the night at Mr.Pandu’s house who is also a resident of the village of Ganggang Panjang.

In the morning we were invited by Mr. Pandu to feed his cattle. This was a new experience for me. We rode a pickup truck for a trip to Mr. Pandu's cattle pen, and some of my team stood behind the pickup truck because the passenger seat only have 1 and 1 more for the driver, I felt the experience of just standing behind a pickup truck that was driving lightly while enjoying the fresh village breeze while seeing the view of the rice fields, it was a new thing for me.

From noon to evening we continued our community service activities such as opening events, Planting Toga Plants, Cleaning Reca gardens and educating proposals for local youth. Lots of people are enthusiastic to come to the event that we organize, we are very happy to see so many people who attend and we are also happy to help them.

The CSS program is a new program that all female students of SMK ten November Sidoarjo must take part in. Last year there was also this program but it only involved students majoring in nursing, but this year children majoring in FKK and others are also taking part in this program.  The experience I want to convey is a very pleasant experience, namely that I got to know friends from different departments, I got to know the village midwife who was very friendly and kind.
