Serving in Luwung Village: An Inspiring KKN Story

At my university, there is a Thematic Community Service Program (KKN) in the village, and I want to share my experience during KKN in Luwung Village, Ganggangpanjang Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency. I was not alone; there were 10 people in our team. Here, I served as treasurer, managing finances, income, and expenses, as well as handling consumption. I’m currently a student at Narotama University in Surabaya, and I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to participate in the KKN (Community Service Program) in Ganggangpanjang Village in 2025. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the local residents. One of the most memorable parts of our first day was when we visited the village hall without hesitation, the village officials invited us to tour Ganggangpanjang and engage directly with the community. This immediate sense of inclusion made me feel comfortable and eager to contribute. Throughout the KKN program, I was involved in several work programs aimed at empowering the community.
